3D Experimentations

Overview: While a vast majority of my design education was in 2d programs like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, I have found a personal passion for render programs and 3-d digital art. This page highlights a few of my self-taught explorations through several different 3-d rendering softwares. The model toy train was built using Fusion 360; all other projects were built using Cinema 4D. From start to finish, I have put roughly 60-80 hours of my free time into learning these applications. Currently, I am in the process of taking these new skills and coupling them with my programming knowledge to be able to make an AR version of my thesis. Updates will be made to this post once that project is finished.

Skill Focus: Cinema 4D, After Effects, Fusion 360

So what’s coming next? Currently, I am in the process of taking these new skills and coupling them with my programming knowledge to be able to make an AR version of my thesis. I am using Unity’s Visual Studio for the interactive pieces of this project. I also want to get more into hair simulations and do research on how to use these types of elements can be used in interactive designs. Updates will be made to this post each time a new project is finished.
